Romania has the second largest area of forests registered with the UNESCO World Heritage Forest Programme after Ukraine, Romania's Minister of Waters and Forestry Ioan Denes told an international World Heritage Beech Forests workshop hosted by Sibiu City on Thursday.
DNA searches in Suceava target public institutions, one company and one home
Suceava National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA) prosecutors on Friday are conducting home searches in 7 locations in the Municipality of Suceava and the Commune of Brodina, Suceava County, out of which 3 at the headquarters of a public institution, and the rest at a company with 3 operating divisions and at an individual home.
