Video Games Could Become an Olympic Discipline by 2024
The Olympics Organizational Committee for Paris 2024 is considering putting electronic games in its program. The French capital is not yet officially announced as host, but it will be during the IOC session next month.
Bolt and Farah's farewell party falls flat
Athletics legends Usain Bolt and Mo Farah experienced some of their greatest moments in their careers at the 2012 Olympics in London but five years on and back in the same stadium, misery replaced joy.
Bolt, who won the individual 100 and 200m and the 4x100m relay in London in 2012, collapsed to the track injured on Aug. 12 anchoring the Jamaica 4x100 meters relay team.

Former Greek Olympic Committee President Minos Kyriakou dies
Greek media mogul and shipowner Minos Kyriakou, a former president of the country’s Olympic Committee, has died. He was 75.
Kyriakou died Sunday of a heart attack, the private Athens Medical Center said.
Kyriakou was born on May 31, 1942 in Poros, Greece. He began his career as a ship owner in the mid-1960s and remained involved in the sector.
McDonald's ended its sponsorship of the Olympic Games three years early
