In less than 24 hours, the sun has unleashed three waves of X-class flares, the highest magnitude on the scale measuring the intensity of solar eruptions.

Biggest solar flare in years temporarily disrupts radio signals on Earth
A NASA telescope has captured the biggest solar flare in years, which temporarily knocked out radio communication on Earth.
The sun spit out the huge flare, resulting in two hours of radio interference in parts of the U.S. and other sunlit parts of the world. Scientists said it was the biggest flare since 2017.
Turkish astro-photographer awarded for Sun image
A Turkish astro-photographer has secured third place in the solar category of the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Competition, an esteemed event organized by the Royal Observatory of Greenwich in London.
