Masks and antiseptics seized

The General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development and Investment has announced the seizure of thousands of surgical masks and antiseptics, in the context of 144 nationwide inspections from April 27 to May 2, during which 12 violations were confirmed.

Ieronymos leaves hospital

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece has exited the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, a day after he had a pacemaker installed.

The procedure on Ieronymos, 82, was done using local anesthesia and he is "in excellent health" his office said in a statement Sunday.

Violinist plays during brain op as surgeons test her dexterity      

A violinist helped surgeons avoid damage to her brain during surgery to remove a tumor by playing her instrument, the UK hospital where she underwent the innovative procedure said.        

Surgeons came up with the novel approach to ensure that areas of Dagmar Turner's brain responsible for intricate hand movements were not affected during the precision procedure.

USR's Deputy Ungureanu files complaint in the case of the burnt patient at Floreasca Hospital
