Prosecutor targets nine over Mati fire

SafeΒulkers adds two more carriers
In a strategic move that is seen strengthening the Cypriot flag, SafeΒulkers Inc, a prominent shipping company, has added two state-of-the-art vessels to its fleet.
The newly constructed bulk carriers, MV Ammoxostos and MV Kerynia, built in Japan to rigorous modern and environmental standards, were unveiled at a naming ceremony in January at the Oshima Shipbuilding shipyard.

Farmers vow Athens tractorcade will go ahead, despite minister’s appeal
Farmers will stage a tractorcade rally in Athens on Tuesday despite Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis requesting that they not do so, protesting farmers' representatives have said.
Earlier, the minister had called on farmers to use buses or private cars to reach the capital instead.

Tourism minister meets with foreign ambassadors over joint ventures
Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni held consecutive meetings with the ambassadors of Switzerland and Albania on Friday.
During her meeting with Swiss Ambassador Stefan Estermann, they discussed the planning of joint actions between the two countries, and jointly promoting sustainability and innovation in tourism.

Kefalogianni to visit Istanbul to discuss tourism initiatives
Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni is to visit Istanbul on Monday. During her three-day stay, the minister will meet with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, visit the new Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) offices and have contacts with businesspeople and tourism-sector organizations, such as the Turkey Travel Agencies Association (TURSAB).
