EBRD to boost renewable energy investments in Türkiye

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a loan of $110 million to Türkiye's Enerjisa Enerji Üretim to support the expansion of the company's wind power portfolio.

Enerjisa Üretim's projects will prevent the release of 52,000 tons of CO2 emissions a year from the country's power system, the bank said in a statement.

RES are not enough for energy needs

The conclusions from the energy crisis put the debate on the energy transition on a more realistic basis at the European level and within the country.

The request for a total redesign of the energy market, which will take into account the new data and the real dimensions of the problem, is shared both by the companies active in the sector and by the management bodies.

Bulgaria joins the European Battery Alliance

The Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev and President Rumen Radev will participate in the ceremony of Bulgaria's accession to the European Battery Alliance, organized by the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BAI) and the European Battery Alliance (EBA).

At the event, BAI and EBA will sign a declaration for Bulgaria's accession to the Alliance.

Greece asking EU for additional 5 bln euros to finance energy investment loans

Greek Alternate Finance Minister Theodoros Skylakakis submitted a request to the European Commission for additional loan financing resources from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), amounting to five billion euros, in the context of REPowerEU.
