Athens transport strike on Sunday, Nov. 15
There will be a 24-hour transport strike on Sunday, November 15. No Metro (blue and red lines) or electric railway (green) lines will be operating on this day. There will also be a 24-hour tram strike.
Blue buses and trolleys are expected to work as usual. Taxis will operate as usual.

Public transportation strike on Sunday
Employees at metro, tram and trains announced a new 24-hour strike on November 15 to participate in the general meeting of STASY which will take place on the same day at 11:00.

The discussion on grass-lined tram tracks was initiated by "Architects for Sofia" as part of the Sofia 2020 campaign, daily Dnevnik reminds.

Turkish Bozankaya has won the 2015 European Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year Award for high quality in public transport services, the company has said in a press release.
The company specializes in design, all the way to the final production stages, of rail, bus and tram-bus vehicles.
Tram driver hits animal rights activists in Turkey
A tram driver in a central Turkish city has hit a group of animal rights activists, injuring one.
Around 60 activists from Turkey's Protection of Animals Association and Anarchist Initiative organized a demonstration in Eski?ehir on June 14. When the group started to march on the road reserved for the tram, the driver stopped and honked at the group.
