Avant Car plans to continue expanding EV sharing

Avant Car runs Slovenia's biggest electric car sharing system, Avant2Go, with a fleet of 500 fully electric vehicles. Further expansion is planned, says director Matej Čer.

Additional locations and vehicles will be added in Slovenia to ensure broad coverage and meet the needs of users, Čer told the Slovenian Press Agency.

Bulgaria: A Tram hit a Car in Sofia early in the morning

A serious accident occurred in the morning in front of the "Serdika" mall in Sofia.

Photos on social networks show how a tram hit and swept away a car.

The incident happened around 7.40 a.m. this morning. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries, an ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident.

Auto sales soar 63 percent in April

Nearly 98,000 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) were sold in Türkiye last month, pointing to a 62.7 percent increase from April 2022, data from the Automotive Distributors' and Mobility Association (ODMD) have shown.

Last month, 77,400 passenger cars were sold on the local market, translating into an annualized increase of 69.9 percent.
