European facility management body to meet in Istanbul

The European Facility Management Association (EuroFM), the umbrella body of hundreds of facility management corporates across the European continent, which makes it the second largest business sector, will hold one of the most important events in Türkiye to honor the host country's 100th anniversary.

Türkiye bookings spike, says UK travel company

U.K. holidaymakers are flocking to Türkiye and Egypt to take advantage of favorable currency exchange rates, British daily The Independent has reported, citing a statement by travel company On the Beach.

The number of bookings it has received for summer trips to those destinations is more than double the level from 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic, On the Beach said.

US Consulate General in Istanbul hosts ceremony for July 4

The U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul on June 13 has hosted an early ceremony for the 247th anniversary of the U.S. Independence Day which is celebrated on July 4.

More than 1,000 people attended the reception, including businesspeople, diplomatic and military representatives, religious officials, journalists, academics, and some NGOs representatives.
