The number of bookings it has received for summer trips to those destinations is more than double the level from 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic, On the Beach said.

US Consulate General in Istanbul hosts ceremony for July 4
The U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul on June 13 has hosted an early ceremony for the 247th anniversary of the U.S. Independence Day which is celebrated on July 4.
More than 1,000 people attended the reception, including businesspeople, diplomatic and military representatives, religious officials, journalists, academics, and some NGOs representatives.

Crypto boss arrested following extradition
Faruk Fatih Özer, extradited by Albania after being nabbed for defrauding investors on his cryptocurrency platform, Thodex, was arrested in Türkiye on April 23.
"I am not a swindler. I have not defrauded anyone," Özer said in his statement at the police station.
