Civil service digital assistant available in 25 languages

The launch of an enhanced version of the digital assistant, mAigov, catering to European Union citizens and Greek expatriates in 25 languages was announced on Thursday. 

Available through gov.gr, the multilingual chat assistant supports 24 certified EU languages and Albanian, and is accessible via mobile phones, tablets, or desktops/laptops, accepting both text and voice queries.

Representatives of the 27 EU member states and MEPs agreed on a universal charger for smartphones, tablets, consoles and digital cameras. It should be introduced by the autumn of 2024. At the next stage, the unification of laptop chargers is also expected. This was announced by the European Parliament, quoted by AFP.

A team coordinated by Social Democratic Party (PSD) MEP Victor Negrescu made up of teachers, entrepreneurs in the digital field, representatives of civil society and public figures launched on Tuesday the first Romanian educational tablet during an online conference.
