Humanitarian photo exhibition at Mikser House
BELGRADE - Tanjug will open a photo exhibition at Mikser House in Belgrade on Monday and all the proceeds from the sale of the photographs will be donated as humanitarian aid.
The exhibition will comprise 36 photos, but the visitors will be able to view several hundred more on screens. All of the shots were made at the sites of the recent catastrophic floods in Serbia.

Russian rescuers return to Russia
BELGRADE - The Russian rescuers who provided assistance in the rescue efforts during the floods in Serbia departed from the Belgrade airport Nikola Tesla on Monday.
Russia's Deputy Minister of Emergencies Eduard Chizhikov said that the rescue operation in Serbia had been completed, and he thanked his countrymen on their brave efforts.

Vekic: Health situation in Serbia is stable
BELGRADE - The health situaton is stable in the flooded areas of Serbia where people are beginning to return, State Secretary for Health Berislav Vekic said on Monday, stressing that the shelters for those who had been evacuated were under constant monitoring.

France sends 18 tons of food for flood victims in Serbia
BELGRADE - French humanitarian organization Solidarity for Kosovo has provided 18 tons of canned food for the families badly affected by the recent heavy flooding in Serbia and the aid was delivered to a warehouse of the Red Cross in Belgrade on Saturday.
Algerian ambassador: No Africa Day, money to be used as aid

EBRD: Funds will come before final assessment of damages
BELGRADE - A final assessment of damages from floods could take several months to complete and we will therefore not wait any longer before approving aid for Serbia, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti said in Belgrade Thursday.
