Lithuania writes guerilla manual for Russian invasion

BELGRADE - Lithuania has printed out a 75-page guide to be issued to its citizens in preparation for a potential incursion from the east. The pamphlet promises to turn an ordinary resident into a novice guerilla fighter.

"It is important that civilians have the will the resist, this will make it more difficult for the aggressor country to feel comfortable," states the manual.

Logistics hub found transporting toxic waste without license

An industrial accident occurred on Wednesday at a logistics hub in Aspropyrgos, western Attica, after 700 liters of formaldehyde poured out of a tank onto the street while it was being transferred.

The area was blocked off for hours while specialized crews removed the toxic waste.

The driver of the vehicle transferring the tank was arrested.

Turkish defense and civil industry firm Otokar, a branch of the leading Koç Group that undertook the design phase of Altay battle tanks, has said it is ready to undertake the mass production of the country's first ever domestic tank. 

Turkey has world's 10th most powerful army

Turkey ranks 10th in the top militaries of the world list by Global Firepower, which lines up the strength of nations? armies in accordance with their spending, assets and staff. 

The figures on the Global Firepower website showed that Turkey has a relatively large military population, some 411,000, and a strong tank force of 3,778 vehicles.
