One in two Greek businesses evading taxes, says SDOE
One in two businesses inspected by the Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) in the period from January to June was found to be evading paying taxes, SDOE said in a report on Tuesday.
The Finance Ministry's force inspected 2,639 businesses across Greece in the six-month period, finding more than 390,000 tax code violations at 1,872 of them, or 54 percent.

Fresh target for sell-off revenues at 1.5 bln euros

The target set for revenues from privatizations for this year has dropped further, as following the recent negotiations between the government and its creditors, it has reduced to 1.5 billion from 2.8 billion euros.
