15 Turkish villagers released after confronting security forces in 'water war'
Fifteen villagers from the village of Tatar in the Central Anatolian province of Sivas, who had protested against security forces in order to prevent their spring water from being diverted elsewhere, have been released.
Their release comes after a protocol outlining the use of the water evenly among local villages was agreed upon.
Romanian artistic gymnast Iordache wins floor silver medal at World Championships
Romania's female artistic gymnast Larisa Iordache on Sunday won the silver medal in the floor event of the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Nanning, China, with 14,800 points, 6.3 difficulty score and an execution score of 8.5.
This is her second medal at the 45th edition of the world championships, after the silver medal secured in the all-around event.
