Police bomb squad inspecting suspicious object left outside bank
A security alert was triggered on Thursday following the discovery of a suspicious item found behind an outdoor air conditioner unit of a bank in Tavros, a suburb in southwestern Athens.
The object, identified as a backpack, was found by a bank employee who alerted the police.
A bomb disposal unit has arrived in the area to determine the seriousness of the threat, police said.
Three minors arrested after throwing bulky objects off a terrace in Moschato
Three minors, aged 15, 16, and 14, were arrested for damage to private property and complicit bodily harm in the late hours of August 31 by Greek police officers.

Teen injured falling on train tracks in Tavros
The alarm was raised on Friday afternoon in the Tavros area of Athens as a 16-year-old boy fell on the suburban train tracks on Konstantinopoleos and Mithymni streets.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and retrieved the teen, who was taken to Tzaneio Hospital with a head injury.
