Deadline extended due to Taxisnet overload
The Taxisnet overload this week, owing to the wave of tax returns filed ahead of the August 31 deadline, has led the Finance Ministry to extend the deadline yet again.
This time the deadline has been extended up to Monday, September 4, without any penalties for the individuals and corporation yet to submit their 2022 income declarations.

New income tax filing deadline of Aug 31
The deadline for the filing of income tax returns for 2022 has been extended to August 31, following the passing of an amendment in parliament.
However, the payment deadline for the first tax instalment remains July 31. In effect, this means that taxpayers who submit their returns by the new deadline will have to pay two instalments in one month (those for July and August).

Tax declaration deadline extended to July 31
The deadline for the filing of income tax returns for 2022 has been extended to July 31, following a decision by the Deputy Minister for Taxation Policy and Public Property Apostolos Vesyropoulos.
Moreover, the payment deadline for the first tax instalment remains July 31.

Platform for income tax declarations has opened
The platform for submitting the 2023 income tax forms has opened, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) said on Friday.
The deadline for filing Greek income (for the 2022 calendar year) is June 30. For those owing tax, the first installment will be due at the end of July 2023 and the last on February 29, 2024 (eight installments).

NRA: 2020 Tax Filing Season Begins on January 10th
Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency (NRA) starts accepting tax returns for 2020 on 10th of January, the agency's press office said on December 31, BNT reported.
Individuals and companies can submit tax returns electronically and on hard copies at the relevant NRA offices.

Tax statements come in faster
More than twice as many tax declarations have been submitted compared to the same time last year, which is due to the fact that the online Taxisnet system opened earlier than ever this year.

2018 Tax Filing Season in Bulgaria Began on January 10
Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency (NRA) starts accepting tax returns for 2018 on 10th of January, reports BNT.
Individuals and companies can submit tax returns electronically and on hard copies at the relevant NRA offices.
NRA reminds taxpayers that if the tax returns are submitted by 31st of January, there will be a discount of 5% on the tax owed.
NRA Campaign For Tax Returns Submission Starts on January 10
Individuals can submit their annual income tax return for 2018 from January 10, the National Revenue Agency reported on 3rd of January, reported BNT.
The tax returns can be submitted via the electronic service and in paper at the NRA offices.
Submission of corporate tax returns for 2018 through the NRA electronic service will also start on January 10th.
