Türkiye will not allow any actor to endanger its security: Erdoğan
Türkiye will continue to "resolutely" take steps against terrorism and will not allow any global or regional actor to endanger its security, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on April 16.
"Terror is the biggest scourge that the imperialists have inflicted on Türkiye," Erdoğan said at an iftar dinner in the southeastern Şanlıurfa province.
Putin may attend Akkuyu Nuclear Plant inauguration: Erdoğan
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Russian President Vladimir Putin may travel to Türkiye on April 27 to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant.
Speaking on a joint TV broadcast on March 29, Erdoğan said Türkiye is determined to proceed with the nuclear power plant project, despite objection from the opposition.
Erdoğan vows to erase traces of devastating earthquakes
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on March 24 promised to heal the wounds of the victims of powerful earthquakes that hit Türkiye's southern region and claimed more than 50,000 lives.
"Together we will remove the traces of this disaster," Erdoğan said at a ceremony in quake-hit Hatay province.
Erdoğan to speak with Putin on grain deal in coming days
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on March 22 that he will speak by phone in the coming days with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss the Black Sea Grain deal.
"We will have a phone call with Putin in two to three days," Erdoğan said in a televised interview.
He said the world appreciates Türkiye's mediation efforts between Russia and Ukraine.
