Stefanovic: Key attack on Kurir website came from Croatia

BELGRADE - The website of the Serbian daily Kurir was brought down due to the key attack which came from Croatia, and the Serbian police are cooperating with its colleagues so as to determine who is behind the attack, Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic has said.

The daily Kurir reported to the Interior Ministry several attacks on the website committed on June 23-24.

Bulgarian Authorities Apprehend EUR 52 600 in Fake Banknotes

The Bulgarian authorities apprehended 263 fake EUR 200 banknotes, said the National Security Agency (DANS). 

The fake banknotes were hidden under the seat, in the trainers of the driver and in the luggage of the other passenger in an automobile with Polish registration plates. It tried to cross the border from Bulgaria into Romania at Danube Bridge 2 checkpoint in Vidin. 

Garbage Fee in Bulgaria May Be Divided into 2 Payments

Bulgaria's Finance Ministry has proposed to divide the garbage fee into two parts.

One part of the payment will be for cleaning public spaces and the other part for collecting household waste.

If the amendments to the Local Taxes and Fees Act are approved, the new garbage fee will enter into force in the beginning of 2015, according to reports of econ.bg.

Tenants continue living in crooked apartment building in industrial Istanbul suburb

Tenants of an apartment building, which was bent like a vulgar Tower of Pisa due to the construction of another building on adjacent property, are continuing to live there despite the risks of the total collapse of the structure.

The four-story building in Istanbul’s industrial eastern suburb of Gebze is being propped up by a crane by the contractors to prevent it from collapse.
