Telenor Fined BGN 5.2 M By Bulgaria's Competition Protection Commission
Telecoms operator Telenor has been fined over BGN 5.2 M by the Commission for the Protection of Competition (KZK) because it misled customers about the speed of the 4-G network offered by the company for nearly a year and, thus, attracted clients by violating the rules of competition.

Telenor Bulgaria to Offer 4G Services from Next Month
Telenor Bulgaria announced on Thursday that it will offer fourth-generation (4G) mobile technology services under the Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard in the 1800 MHz band to its customers starting on December 1.
Mobile operator Telenor provides free wifi for migrants
Telenor Serbia has set up a free Wi-Fi hot spot at the park near Belgrade's Central Bus Station, enabling all migrants to get in touch with their families.
Another free Wi-Fi hot spot will be set up over the next few days at the second busiest migrant location, in the park in front of the Faculty of Economics, the company said in a statement.

Chinese tech company Huawei mulls opening an information technology (IT) center in Serbia.
The plans of the Chinese telecommunications company were announced on Monday after a meeting of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic with Wan Zheng, Vice-President of Huawei, according to Serbia's Beta news agency.

Sertic: 3,047 enterprises privatized, proceeds at EUR 3.7 bn
KOPAONIK - A total of 3,047 enterprises have been privatized in Serbia until 2015, the proceeds from them totalling EUR 3.7 billion, Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic said on Wednesday.
