Television in Moldova

Moldova's Audiovisual Coordinating Council, CCA has fined 11 radio and TV stations and seven cable network providers 5,000 lei (around 240 euros) each because they did not deliver an overview of their programming output as required by the country's new 'anti-propaganda' law.

Moldova's General Prosecutor's Office told news website deschide.md on Monday evening that German Gorbuntsov is being investigated in at least three criminal cases by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

After returning to Moldova on November 30 following a six-year absence, Gorbutsov was first questioned by prosecutors about an attempt to assassinate him in London in March 2012.

Premier Victor Ponta this Friday said during a televised show at the Publika TV channel in Chisinau - Republic of Moldova, that Romania is a country safe from any threats and that it will "never" accept security rules to be imposed on it by someone from outside.
