Vučić on United Group's decision: "Scandalous"

President Aleksandar Vui said that as far as he is personally concerned, that decision is "scandalous".
"I think I understand why they're doing it. They're doing it to kick out Prva, then B92. I think they want to kick out Happy, too. I don't know which broadcasters will remain on air on that cable channel. They're doing it to artificially boost Nova S and N1's ratings.

Mask mandate fines to be canceled

The fines given to those who violated the face mask mandate amid the pandemic will be canceled, as per the latest additions in the omnibus bill, which the Justice and Development Party (AKP) will present to the parliament.

The penalties applied to those who did not wear masks will be removed in accordance with the 90-article omnibus bill presented by the AKP to the parliament.

Bulgaria: World Title for the Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble in Sofia

The Bulgarian ensemble won the world title in the all-around at the rhythmic gymnastics world championship in Sofia. Radina Tomova, Zhenina Trashlieva, Rachel Stoyanov, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova and Margarita Vasileva triumphed in their debut at a similar forum, in front of their home audience.

Tennis has a new "king" – Alcaraz won the US Open!

Alcaraz triumphed after three hours and 21 minutes - 6:4, 2:6, 7:6(1), 6:3.
The Spaniard won the first Grand Slam title of his career in the first final he played, while Ruud lost his second final, after Roland Garros, to Nadal this year.
Alcaraz (19) became world no.1 and thus made history, as he was the first teenager to do so, and also the youngest ever to do so.

Pirc Musar, Logar in the lead in POP TV poll

Ljubljana – Lawyer Nataša Pirc Musar and Anže Logar, the former foreign minister, are in the lead in a presidential opinion poll released by commercial broadcaster POP TV, polling at 28.7% and 25.4%, respectively. Marta Kos, the former diplomat who will run for the ruling party Freedom Movement, polled at 11.4%.
