Two TV license owners pay first installment
SKAI TV and Alter Ego, the company established by shipowner Evangelos Marinakis paid to the General Secretariat of Information on Friday the first installment of their full bid totaling 14,533,333 euros and 24,633,333 euros respectively.
The two companies also submitted relevant documents.

Cable and internet provider SBB acquires competitor
Cable, internet, and landline telephony provider SBB has acquired 100 percent of the IKOM company.
IKOM also provides cable, internet, and landline telephony services.
Russia's Medvedev "could attend military parade in Serbia"

'Game of Thrones' makes history at Emmys
The fantasy epic "Game of Thrones" made television history at the 68th Emmys on Sept. 18, becoming the most decorated fictional show since the awards began nearly seven decades ago.

Allies of Russian President Vladimir Putin comfortably won a parliamentary election, early results showed on Monday. The ruling United Russia party won 51 percent in Sunday’s election, according to a preliminary central election commission tally after a quarter of the votes had been counted.
