Telia, Turkcell sell stake in Azercell to Azintelecom
Fintur, jointly owned by Telia Company and Turkcell, has agreed to sell its 51.3 percent holding in Azertel, the sole shareholder of the Azeri telecommunications operator Azercell, to Azintelecom, a company wholly-owned by the Republic of Azerbaijan.
EU drops cellphone roaming charges
A European Union (EU) law to abolish roaming charges for people using cellphones abroad came into force on Thursday. It follows an agreement in 2015 obliging operators to offer the same service to phone users throughout the bloc.

Turkey's Turkcell to make offer for TeliaSonera's Eurasian Fintur
Turkey's largest telecoms operator Turkcell on Nov. 25 said it was making a non-binding indicative offer for Nordic firm TeliaSonera's 58.55 percent stake in its Eurasian unit Fintur.
