It's that time of the year again, when one of Turkey's oldest film festivals, the Festival on Wheels, gets ready to take on the road for two weeks. The festival will kick off in Ankara on Nov. 25, staying in the capital for a week before traveling to Eskişehir from Dec. 2 to 4 and ending its journey in the northern province of Kastamonu, staying there from Dec. 5 to 7.

The Oscar winning actor Russell Crowe will be Istanbul on Dec. 5 for the premiere of his film “The Water Diviner,” which also stars Olga Kurylenko and Turkish actors Yılmaz Erdoğan and Cem Yılmaz.

Themed ‘Memorylessness,’ the 25th Ankara Film Festival kicks off tomorrow. Ten Turkish films will compete for the festival’s grand award. The event also screens selected films from the world The 25th Ankara International Film Festival, organized by the World Mass Media Research Foundation.
