Ticking time bomb scenario

A ticking bomb for the future of the country as demographic collapse is imminent

Under the best-case scenario, May 10 or some other point mid-May will be a landmark. The government hopes that, by then, measures to flatten the notorious curve will pay off, evening off the number of new infections and deaths and perhaps even reducing them.

At some point in the their tenure, all Greek prime ministers have to prove that they have the skills of a political bomb-disposal expert. They are handed a ticking bomb or two and are expect to neutralize it. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes they are injured by the shrapnel and sometimes they manage to save themselves but not the people.
