When President Joe Biden heads to the occupied West Bank on Friday for talks with Palestinian leaders, he will have little to offer beyond U.S. money aimed at buying calm.

Erdoğan discusses ties with King Salman of Saudi Arabia
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and King Salman of Saudi Arabia exchanged a phone conversation late July 13, the presidential communication office has announced.
"President Erdoğan and King Salman bin Abdulaziz exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings. Bilateral relations and regional issues were also discussed during the call," read the brief statement by the Communication Directorate.
Biden to meet with Israeli leaders on second day of Mideast tour
U.S. President Joe Biden will hold bilateral talks on July 14 with Israeli officials in Jerusalem, where the two allies are expected to declare a "united stand" on common foe Iran.
Biden touched down in Tel Aviv on Wednesday for the first Middle East tour of his presidency, which will see him meet Israeli and Palestinian leaders before flying onwards to Saudi Arabia.

Erdoğan, Raisi, Putin to meet for Syria summit
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will meet in Tehran on July 19 for a Syria summit, the Kremlin announced.
"The president's visit to Tehran is being planned for July 19," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on July 12 adding that the trio would meet for Syrian peace talks.
