Türkiye to intensify negotiations for Ukraine grain deal: Erdoğan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on July 5 he intends to "intensify" negotiations with Russia and Ukraine in the hope of reaching a deal on a U.N. plan to export Ukrainian grain to world markets.
Erdoğan, Draghi meet in Ankara, discuss ties
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi met in Ankara for the third intergovernmental summit. The summit was organized 10 years after the second intergovernmental meeting held in Rome.
Turkish and Italian leaders met to hold their third intergovernmental summit and to sign new agreements to boost bilateral cooperation.

No negative picture for F-16s from the US: Turkish FM
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said they see no negative picture in the process of acquiring F-16 fighter jets from the United States.
"There is a relatively positive atmosphere in our relations with the U.S. Problems will likely be resolved, relations will be improved," he said speaking to the NTV broadcaster on June 4.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the minimum wage will be raised by 30 percent to a base of 5,550 Turkish Liras.
The minimum wage for 2022 initially was raised more than 50 percent to a base of 4,250 Turkish Liras ($275) in December.
