Widely acclaimed American actor John Malkovich and Lithuania's award-winning Ingeborga Dapkunaite are coming to the Onassis Cultural Center (onassis.org) with French dramatist and writer Bernard-Marie Koltes' play "In the Solitude of Cotton Fields," in the first stop on its international tour after premiering in Riga last May.

The 28th edition of the Varna Summer'2020 International Theater Festival will be held until December 6. The Festival was postponed in June owing to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Six titles are included in this year's edition of "World Theater in Sofia". They will be visiting various Sofia scenes from 4 to 19 June. The efforts of the organizers are focused on the search for diversity and the performances will have subtitles in Bulgarian language, the organizers say.
