President Radev Spoke with his Kazakh Counterpart about the Deepening of the Bilateral Relations between the Countries

The deepening of the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan and the improvement of the connection between the Black Sea and the Caspian region were discussed on Tuesday by the presidents of the two countries, Rumen Radev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The two met in New York during the 74th regular session of the UN General Assembly.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered a write-off of millions of dollars in debt for some of the poorest families in the country. The decision will release a total of 255,000 people from debt while at the same time alleviating the situation of thousands of others.

Kazakhstan Renames their Capital after Ex-president

At a joint meeting of the two chambers, Kazakhstan's parliament passed a law renaming the state capital Astana to Nursultan in honor of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, TASS reported.

The members of the Magglias (Lower House) and Senate (upper) unanimously voted in favor of the proposal. The law is considered adopted and is now due to be signed by the president.
