Wizz Air to Launch Sofia - Athens flights in March 2018
Wizz Air will launch a new route from Bulgaria's Sofia to Greek capital Athens on March 25, 2018, the Hungarian low-cost carrier said on Monday. The company will operate the new route on a daily basis, in each day of the week, Wizz Air said in a statement.
Unique Jade Amulet was Discovered in Kaliakra, Probably Made in China
A unique white jade amulet, probably made in China during the Yuan Dynasty, was discovered during excavations on Cape Kaliakra. This was announced by the head of the archeological team, Associate Professor Dr Bonie Petrunova, at a press conference.
From Tomorrow Vitinya Tunnel to Sofia will be Closed for Repairs
Days after the one tunnel of the Vitinia tunnel on the Hemus highway had been opened after repair, the road agency shuts off the other tube - from Varna to Sofia.
The repair should continue until the end of November. Heavy trucks over 10 tonnes will continue to pass through the bypass route on the old Botevgrad - Sofia road.

At the initiative of Bulgaria's Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova, more than 400,000 cards will be sent to foreign tourists who visited Bulgaria. The initiative aims to thank the guests for choosing Bulgaria as the destination for their holidays, the Bulgarian National Television reported.

An unknown church has been discovered by the archaeologists from the Regional Museum of History in Russe. They said that the church has not been mentioned in the plans of the Medieval town of Cherven, reported BGNES.
This is the 16th temple in the territory of the metropolitan center from the time of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom.
