Nat'l Geographic: Ikaria model means lots of sex, wine and? napping
National Geographic returned to a subject that created an avalanche of interest over the eastern Aegean island of Ikaria in 2012, a location which author Dan Buettner described as the "the island where people forgot to die."

MSF Warning: Authorities must improve refugees condition at Aegean Islands
As an unprecedented number of refugees arrive in the Dodecanese islands, Greek and European Union authorities must urgently improve the conditions of their reception and prepare a contingency plan for a higher peak of arrivals this summer, the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) warned on Monday.
Illegal migrants that landed on Gavdos transported to Athens
Roughly 100 migrants that "landed" on the small island of Gavdos, south of Crete, last week will be transported by ferry boat to Athens from Crete and then simply ? released to go where-ever they please, according to authorities.

25 mln tourists? a realistic target, says SETE
The Association of Greek Tourist Businesses (SETE) said that the 25 mln target of international tourist arrivals in Greece in 2014 is attainable.
There were more than 810,000 international arrivals recorded in Greece by the end of March 2015. The figure went up from about 29% compared to the same quarter last year, marking an additional 180,000 arrivals.

Iraklis vs. AEL Larissa game marred by violence
Five people were taken to hospital after a group attacked a TV crew ahead of a match at Greece's second-tier Football League at Kaftanzoglio Stadium in Thessaloniki. Those attacked worked for cable TV channel OTE TV.
