The Minister of Civil Protection had informed earlier that farmers can demonstrate with cars but not with their tractors 

Several thousand farmers from around the country gathered in Ljubljana on 25 April for their second rally in a month to protest against environmental and other restrictions to farming. Many came with their tractors, causing traffic jams in the capital.

One in 17 Slovenians owns a tractor, which ranks the country among leaders in Europe in per capita tractor ownership. Almost 120,000 tractors were registered at the end of 2022, up to 15,000 more are estimated to be unregistered.

Last year 1,365 new tractors were registered, slightly fewer than the year before but 249 more than in 2020.

Police said they were responding to a “threatening situation” when the farmers started to drive their tractors into officers and their vehicles

Turkey's automotive production, including light commercial vehicles, tractors, and automobiles, amounted to 921,619 units during the first nine months of this year, an association report said on Oct. 11. 

The mass production of Turkey's first electric tractor can be postponed by one month to October due to the coronavirus pandemic, a senior Agriculture Ministry official said on April 19.

IRUM Reghin is launching this fall, the year of the Greater Union's Centennial, the first 100 pct Romanian tractor, designed and made by the company's engineers, 15 years from the disappearance of the Romanian tractors' production, on Friday announced Mircea Oltean, the company's managing director.

They spoke about "the plans of this company in the following period."

Srinivasan presented to Brnabic plans and preparations for the production of advanced models of tractors with the Euro 3 engine, pointing out that the first such model was already presented at last week's Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
