Drunk truck driver crashes into two cars, two dead
A 64-year-old truck driver was under the influence of alcohol when he lost control of his vehicle on Kifissou Avenue and crashed into two cars, killing both drivers, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at 5.40 a.m., according to traffic police who determined that the level of alcohol in the truck driver's blood was much higher than the legal limit.

Belgian Received a Fine for Driving at 696 km / h
A Belgian citizen was very surprised when he received a fine ticket for driving at a speed of 696-kilometer per hour with his Opel Astra, the French press reported.
The man who is about 30 years old blew his eyes several times, when he saw the speed-score sheet, detected by police radar in Kyivren municipality, near the border with France, said the French newspaper "Voe du Nor".

NYT: Toronto Van Driver Kills at Least 10 People
TORONTO — The killing began on a busy lunchtime thoroughfare in Toronto on Monday when a white rental Ryder van ran over a pedestrian crossing the street — then mounted a sidewalk and began plowing into people indiscriminately.
"One by one, one by one," said a witness who identified himself as Ali. "Holy God, I've never seen such a sight before. I feel sick."
