Six injured after trolley wire strikes tour bus

Six tourists sustained minor injuries in downtown Athens on Monday afternoon after a wire detached from a trolley bus and struck the top floor of a double-decker tour bus. 

None of the injured individuals came into contact with electricity, and the incident resulted in only minor material damage. 

An ambulance quickly responded to the scene.

Pedestrian dies in Faliro car-tram collision

One pedestrian was fatally injured and another seriously when a car collided with a tram at Edem station on Thursday in the southern Athenian suburb of Palaio Faliro.

The car deviated from its lane and crashed into the oncoming tram after violating a traffic light and hitting the two pedestrians. According to Urban Rail Transport (STASY), no passengers were injured.

Woman dies in traffic accident with tram

One passerby was fatally injured, and another was hospitalized at Nikaia General Hospital and is in critical condition.

Sofia: Aggressive Tram Driver with Positive Drug Test Flees Accident

In Sofia, an anonymous driver contacted Nova TV, recounting a recent traffic accident involving a tram and a Road Assistance car. The collision left the tram driver fleeing the scene, exhibiting aggressive behavior.

Following the incident, the police arrived on-site to conduct alcohol and drug tests on the public transport driver, which revealed a positive drug test.

A serious accident occurred in the morning in front of the "Serdika" mall in Sofia.

Photos on social networks show how a tram hit and swept away a car.

The incident happened around 7.40 a.m. this morning. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries, an ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident.

Labor Day rallies and demonstrations held in the center of Athens have now concluded, and the roads in the city center are gradually reopening.

However, all three Metro lines and tram services will remain closed throughout the day as employees stage a 24-hour stoppage.
