Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline

The United States has expressed very strong support for the trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) that will carry natural gas from Azerbaijan to the European continent via Turkey, describing the $8.5 billion-worth project as a strong addition to the energy security of regional countries, including Europe.

  Bulgaria's head of state Rumen Radev held talks in Baku with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, reported BGNES. 

Prsedident Radev stated that Azerbaijan plays a key role in the diversification of the energy sources to Eastern and Central Europe, and that is why Bulgaria supports the southern gas corridor project.
