Air Serbia carries more than 298,000 passengers in November
BELGRADE - Air Serbia carried 298,322 passengers in November, which was a 39 pct increase compared to the same month in 2022 and a 60 pct increase compared to the previous record-breaking year of 2019, the airline said in a statement.
Final section of Belgrade bypass opened to traffic
BELGRADE - The final section of a 9.74 km Belgrade bypass stretching from Strazevica to Bubanj Potok was opened to traffic on Thursday.
The section completes a 47 km full-profile, six-lane motorway route from Batajnica to Bubanj Potok, whose construction began over 30 years ago.

Vucic: New runway one of largest-ever investments in Belgrade airport
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday a new take-off and landing runway at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport was one of the largest-ever investments in the airport.
"The concession agreement (for the airport) is one of the five best things we have done. We are now proud of our airport," Vucic said before the opening of the new runway.
Air Serbia carries over 300,000 passengers in May

BELGRADE - Air Serbia carried 235,000 passengers in March, which is a 91.2 pct increase y-o-y and a 68.3 pct increase compared to 2019, the Serbian flag carrier said on Tuesday.

Media: Emergency landing of a plane in Belgrade due to a malfunction and fuel leak
According to the media, the plane that was flying from Santorini to Brussels landed at the "Nikola Tesla" airport due to a malfunction and fuel leak.
As can be seen on the Flight-radar website, the problem on the plane appeared while flying over Tuzla, so it immediately made a turn and headed towards the nearest airport, which was Belgrade.
Two new international airports in Serbia
According to the official Spatial Plan planned for a period between 2021 and 2035, published by the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure, Serbia will get two new international airports - one near Dobanovci, and the second one near Novi Sad, Ekapija reported.
