The EU Invests Over EUR 290 mln in Bulgarian Rail Transport

290.4 mln. euros will be invested in a modern, fast and safe rail links between Plovdiv and Burgas, connecting some of the largest cities in the country with the Black Sea, reported the press office of the EC Representation in Bulgaria.

Russian Plane Engine Bursts into Flames with Hundreds of Passengers on Board

A plane with hundreds of tourists on board made an emergency landing in Russia after one of its engines caught fire soon after takeoff.

All 202 passengers plus crew members were safely evacuated from the Red Wings Tu-204 at Ufa in the Ural mountains.

BGN 256 Million will be Invested in the Airports of Burgas and Varna in the Next 9 Years

Over the next nine years, another 256 million leva will be invested in the airports in Burgas and Varna. During the first ten years the concession company has invested BGN 350 million, as a result of which the two airports on the coast have new terminals, renewed infrastructure, computer and communication systems.
