Fox killed and hung from tree on Kefalonia
Shocking images of animal cruelty have emerged from the island of Kefalonia, where an unknown perpetrator killed a fox, strapped it to two pieces of wood shaped like a crucifix and then hung it from a tree near a main road.
The gruesome spectacle was spotted by a local resident, who published photographs of it on social media.

An adult female bear was freed from an illegal trap thanks to the joint efforts of Greek and Albanian authorities and wildlife organizations.
Weighing approximately 90 kilograms, the five year old bear managed to survive deep in the woods for an entire week, caught in the grips of a steel wire noose, an illegal trap often used by poachers.

Camera traps snap photos from wildlife
Camera traps placed in a national park in the western Black Sea province of Düzce have recorded the daily lives of animals living in their natural habitats.
The General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks shared the images of wildlife going on in the forests.
The images also included species such as the endangered lynx and the red deer.

Three trapped in fire at Russia’s Foreign Intelligence building
A fire has broken out in the basement of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence (SVR) building in Moscow, trapping three, according to Russian media.
The building located on Moscow’s Ring Road is closed to outsiders. The staff has been evacuated but a repair crew could be trapped in an underground tunnel, an unnamed source told the Interfax news agency.
