Opposition bloc candidate pledges visa-free travel in EU in three months
The Nation Alliance's joint presidential candidate and the Republican People's Party (CHP) leader, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, said on April 5 that his government would meet all the European Union visa liberalization benchmarks in three months and Turks will not need a Schengen visa to enter the EU if the opposition bloc comes to power in the next elections.

China opens to Foreigners, COVID-19 Visa Restrictions are Lifted
China will reopen its borders to foreign tourists for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing all categories of visas to be issued from Wednesday, Reuters reported.
The lifting of this latest cross-border control measure imposed to protect against COVID-19 comes after authorities last month declared victory over the virus.

Serbians do not need visas for 136 countries
BELGRADE- The Serbian passport ranks 38th in the global Henley Passport Index for 2023, which means that Serbians can travel to 136 countries of the world without visas.
With 91 countries still requiring visas for Serbian citizens, the Serbian passport has retained its 2022 ranking.

"Serbia risks its own visa-free regime with the EU if it does not reduce the flow of migrants from third countries who travel without visas to its territory and then on to the EU", European diplomatic sources say ahead of the meeting of interior ministers in Luxembourg.

The so-called Kosovo gets the "green light" for visa liberalization?
The European Commission confirmed the recommendation to abolish the visa regime for citizens of Kosovo. They assessed that the recommendation, which dates back to 2018, remains "fully valid".
It is a key document that will be the basis for making a decision on visa liberalization for Kosovo at the level of the member states of the European Union.
