Truck driver crushed in ship hold in Patra port
A truck driver was crushed by his vehicle in the hold of a ship docked at Patra port in western Greece on Thursday.
The 68-year-old was fatally injured when his truck backed into him as he tried to secure it in the hold of the Maltese-flagged Eurocargo Trieste.

Fuel Tanker Hangs off Bridge on Bulgaria's Hemus Motorway
A fuel tanker has overturned on the Hemus motorway near Sofia with the truck cabin hanging from the edge of a bridge over Vitinya pass, bTV station reported on Thursday.
According to initial information, the trailer contains 20 tonnes of fuel which is being drained by firefighters to prevent a potential explosion.
Wildfire Rages Near Bulgaria's Boboshevo
A wildfire has been raging near the village of Sopovo, located in the municipality of Boboshevo in western Bulgaria.
The fire initially originated in pastures, but later spread to beech and oak forests, daily Dnevnik reports.

Truck carrying chemicals overturns near Thessaloniki
A truck with Bulgarian license plates overturned on the Egnatia Highway, near the junction for Thessaloniki, early on Wednesday, shedding large quantities of hospital supplies including chemicals onto the road surface.
The truck driver, who lost control of his vehicle under circumstances that remained unclear, was hospitalized for treatment to minor injuries.

Death toll reaches 33 in Diyarbakır tanker accident
The Death toll from a tanker truck accident on July 22 in southeast Turkey has increased to 33 with the deaths of three more patients in different hospitals this week.
Police officer Akif Ãakır died Aug. 5. Two injured passengers, Ãzlem Åimal and Ahmet Åen, who were being treated in hospitals in Adana and Ankara died on Aug. 6.
