Türk Telekom's investments to reach 20 billion liras by year-end
Türk Telekom Group has allocated two thirds of its investments, which by the end of this year will be approximately 20 billion Turkish Liras ($6.7 billion) since 2005, to infrastructure and fiber, CEO Rami Aslan said on Sept. 2.

Turkcell to establish consumer financing company
Leading mobile operator in Turkey Turkcell has decided to establish a consumer financing company with a capital ceiling of up to 500 million Turkish Liras ($171.5 million), it said in a written statement to the Public Disclosure Platform on Aug. 27.

Three mobile operators win rights to 'advanced' 4G network
Turkey?s three existing mobile operators, Turkcell, Vodafone and Avea, have won the rights to the country?s advanced 4G network due to be established for a sum of more than 1.14 billion euros, in the Aug. 26 tender held by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority.

Turkcell, Turkey's leading mobile phone operator, has launched Ukraine's first 3G GSM network service through the Life:) brand.
The brand, 55 percent of which is owned by Turkcell, was awarded 3G mobile licenses in Ukraine in February.
