124 Turkish citizens abroad died due to COVID-19: Minister
Some 124 Turkish citizens living abroad have died due to COVID-19, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said.
Çavuşoğlu's remarks came after attending a NATO foreign ministers' meeting.
He said more than 20,000 citizens in total have been brought back to Turkey from 50 countries.
Turkey destroys dozens of mines in northern Syria

Turkey 'neutralizes' 8 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq
Turkish jets "neutralized" eight PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, the Defense Ministry announced on March 28.
The terrorists were neutralized in the Metina region in an air strike, the ministry said on Twitter, adding that operations would continue.
Turkish authorities often use the term "neutralized" to imply the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.
Transport minister removed from post
Turkey's Transport and Infrastructure Minister has been removed from his post by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to a decree published on the Official Gazette early on March 28.
Cahit Turhan has been replaced by his deputy, Adil Karaismailoğlu, the decree said.
It did not provide a reason for the change or any further details.

Two Turkish soldiers killed in N Iraq
Two Turkish soldiers were killed and two others injured in a terror attack by radical groups in northern Iraq, the Defense Ministry said on March 25.
"Two of our heroic fellow soldiers were martyred and two others were injured due to harassment fire in the [northern] Haftanin region of Iraq," said the ministry in a statement.

6 PKK/YPG terrorists 'neutralized' in northern Syria
Turkish security forces neutralized six YPG/PKK terrorists in northwestern Syria, the Defense Ministry said on March 24.
"Six PKK/YPG terrorists who were attempting to infiltrate the Operation Peace Spring zone were successfully neutralized in successful operations of our heroic command," the ministry said on Twitter.
It added that the operations will continue uninterrupted.
