Turkey retaliates after attack kills troops in Idlib
Turkey's Defense Ministry said on March 19 that two of its soldiers were killed and another was injured in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib, in a rocket attack by "some radical groups".
In a written statement, the ministry said the radical groups in the de-escalation zone attacked Turkish soldiers, adding that its forces had opened fire on targets in the area.
3 YPG/PKK terrorists surrender to Turkish forces
At least three YPG/PKK terrorists have surrendered to security forces, the Defense Ministry said on March 19.
The ministry said on Twitter that two terrorists, who fled the terror ranks in northern Iraq, turned themselves in at southeastern Şırnak province's border post.

Greek police use tear gas on migrants at Turkish border
Clashes broke out on Greece's border with Turkey before dawn Wednesday, after about 500 migrants attempted to break down a border fence and enter Greece.
Greek police said they used tear gas to repel the push south of the Kastanies border crossing. They said Turkish authorities also fired tear gas at the Greek border. The clashes began at 2 a.m. and lasted for roughly two hours.

"Our heroic commandos neutralized two separatist YPG/PKK terrorists trying to infiltrate into the area of the Operation Euphrates Shield region," the ministry said in a tweet.
