Cyprus says Turkey flouts international law with drill
Cyprus on Friday accused Turkey of violating international law by launching operations off the island in search of oil and gas.
Earlier on Friday, Turkish vice president Fuat Oktay was quoted as saying the drilling ship Fatih had started operations off the north-north-east coast of Cyprus.
Poor imitation

UN to respond to Cyprus appeal over Turkey's Varosha plans
The United Nations is expected on Wednesday to issue its response to an appeal by the Republic of Cyprus against Turkish threats to settle Varosha, the fenced off part of Famagusta.
According to Kathimerini's Cyprus edition, the UN Security Council (UNSC) is expected to issue a written statement reiterating resolutions 550 and 789 on Famagusta.
Varosha to open after property returned: VP Oktay
An abandoned town in the northern part of the divided island of Cyprus, empty for decades, will be reopened once a fair return of properties has been done, Turkey's vice president said on Sept. 20.

'Arrest warrant' issued for Greek-Cypriot teen over removal of Turkish flag
Authorities in the Turkish-occupied north of Cyprus have issued an arrest warrant for a 16-year-old Greek-Cypriot boy for allegedly taking down a Turkish flag from a schoolyard in the occupied town of Lysi.
