Türkiye marked the 2,232nd anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Land Forces Command with a statement on the National Defense Ministry's social media account.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on March 24 promised to heal the wounds of the victims of powerful earthquakes that hit Türkiye's southern region and claimed more than 50,000 lives.

"Together we will remove the traces of this disaster," Erdoğan said at a ceremony in quake-hit Hatay province.

Within the scope of the Suna'nın Kızları initiative of Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation, safe centers for young girls in temporary settlement areas in quake-stricken provinces will be established.
