Murder of Turks in Glyfada: They are still looking for a gunman and his accomplice – They are looking for a connection with earlier cases

 

The Greek FBI investigators are trying to put together the pieces of the puzzle of the mafia-style execution of two Turks that took place on Monday morning (9/12) in Glyfada, by in order to get on the trail of the remaining perpetrators and shed light on the motive of the attack.

Some 20,000 Turks traveled to five Greek islands in the Aegean Sea during the nine-day-long Eid al-Fitr break after Greece launched the visa-on-arrival scheme for Turkish holidaymakers.

The number of Turkish tourists visiting those Greek islands increased by 20 percent compared to the same period of last year.
