Erdoğan vows secure, peaceful elections

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has underscored his administration's commitment to maintain security and peace during the local elections scheduled for March 31.

Speaking at a meeting with governors in Beştepe on Jan. 10, Erdogan emphasized the need to thwart any attempts to disrupt the electoral process and to ensure a healthy, secure, and peaceful voting environment.

CHP leader promises aid to Gaza

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has declared that his party's mayors are gearing up to deliver aid to Gaza in a bid to support the Palestinians in the region.

"We will provide all kinds of assistance to the Palestinians living in Gaza, our mayors should be ready," Kılıçdaroğlu said during his party's group meeting on Oct. 31.
