A Bulgarian singer was arrested for twerking in the middle of the road as cars drove around them at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Gery Nikol, famed as a contestant on Bulgaria's X Factor, shared footage of her dancing with a friend beneath France's capital landmark. 

But their antics turned to humiliation moments later when they were arrested for violating public order.

A video showing a stripper giving a lap dance at a children’s party in Tampa, Florida in the US has emerged on the internet and is causing a great deal of controversy. The footage shows a stripper in pink see through lingerie twerking in front an 8-year old boy during his birthday party, while another boy is slapping her buttocks.

A Russian court has sentenced three young women to up to 15 days imprisonment after they performed a dance with "twerk" moves in front of a war memorial and posted a video online, prosecutors said on April 26.
