Serbia to play Spain, Denmark and Switzerland in UEFA Nations League A
PARIS - The Serbia men's national football team was on Thursday drawn to play Spain, Denmark and Switzerland in Group 4 of UEFA Nations League A.
The draw ceremony was held in Paris.
The fourth edition of the UEFA Nations League begins on September 5 and concludes on November 19.
UEFA provides evidence about suspect soccer games
UEFA, European soccer's governing body, has sent a total of 23 files with evidence of dozens of suspect soccer matches in Greece to the Parliament's Committee on Cultural Affairs and the judiciary.
State broadcaster ERT said the committee's chairman informed members on Wednesday about the existence of the files.

MONACO - Serbian runner-up football champions TSC were on Friday drawn to play West Ham, Olympiacos and Freiburg in Group A of the 2023/2024 UEFA Europa League, while Cukaricki will face Ferencvaros, Fiorentina and Genk in UEFA Europa Conference League Group F.
The draw ceremonies for the group stages of the two competitions were held in Monaco.

Aleksander Čeferin re-elected UEFA boss
Aleksander Čeferin, a 55-year-old Slovenian lawyer, won another term as president of UEFA, the European governing body of football, at the 47th UEFA congress in Lisbon on 5 April.
Čeferin has been at the helm of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) since 2016 and was the only candidate for the job, so the vote, which was unanimous, was a mere formality.

UEFA published several posts on Twitter in order to promote the upcoming European Football Championship in Germany in 2024.
In one of them, in a video that promotes all countries that will compete in the qualifications, Kosovo is left out on the map, that is, it is shown as an integral part of Serbia.
Istanbul to host 2023 Champions League final
The 2023 UEFA Champions League final will be held in Istanbul, the governing body of European football announced on July 16.
The Istanbul Ataturk Olympic Stadium will host the 2023 Champions League final match, according to UEFA's official Twitter account.
The German city of Munich was originally to host the final that year. It will now be the site of the event in 2025.

Athens to host Champions League group stage draw and UEFA awards ceremony in October
Athens will host the ceremony for the UEFA Player of the Year Award in October, along with the draws for the European Cups' group stages for the 2020-2021 season, government spokesman Stelios Petsas announced on Wednesday.
Trabzonspor to appeal at sports court over UEFA ban
Turkish football club Trabzonspor on June 3 said it will appeal at the international sports court against the UEFA's decision to ban the club from European competitions for one year.
"We announce to public that Trabzonspor will appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland in 10 days," the club said on its website.
