Germany to play Ukraine and Greece in last friendlies before Euro 2024
Hosts Germany will play two friendly matches against Ukraine and Greece in June days before the start of the European championships on home soil, the team said on Tuesday.
The Germans will host Ukraine in Nuremberg on June 3 before taking on Greece in Moenchengladbach four days later. Euro 2024 kicks off on June 14 with Germany facing Scotland in their first Group A match.
Serbia to play England, Denmark and Slovenia at EURO 2024
HAMBURG - Serbia were on Saturday drawn to play England, Denmark and Slovenia in Group C at the UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany.
Serbia will first face England in Gelsenkirchen on June 16, then Slovenia in Munich four days later and Denmark, also in Munich, on June 25.
The draw ceremony was held in Hamburg.

Euros expansion leaves drama-lite qualifying for big nations
As qualifying for Euro 2024 resumes on Friday, an unintended consequence of the expansion to 24 teams is quickly becoming apparent, with six teams already given at least a 95% chance of making it to Germany with only two rounds of matches played.
Türkiye bids to host Euro 2028 or 2032
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has submitted a final bid to UEFA to host the 2028 or 2032 editions of the European Football Championships.
"UEFA today received three bid dossiers from member national associations interested in hosting the 2028 and 2032 European Championships," the European football's governing body announced on April 12.

Turkey set for tough test in Netherlands
Turkey will take on the Netherlands in an away game in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, hoping to put its campaign back on track.
After a perfect start to its Group G campaign, beating the Netherlands 4-2 in its opening game followed by a 3-0 victory at Norway, Turkey was held to draws at home by Latvia in March and Montenegro last week.
