UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying
Michael Skibbe will remain at the helm of the Greek national team for the next couple of years, after steering Greece out of ignominy and into the play-offs for a spot in the World Cup finals this month.
The Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that Skibbe will arrive in Athens on Thursday to sign his new two-year contract.
The Bulgarian men's national football team suffered 0:1 defeat to visiting side Norway in a decisive UEFA EURO 2016 qualifier on Thursday.
Thus, Bulgaria's chances of qualifying for EURO 2016 diminished as Bulgaria is lagging five points behind its direct opponent for the third place in qualification Group H - Norway.
Turkey kept their Euro 2016 qualifying hopes alive with a hard-fought 1-0 win away to bottom side Kazakhstan thanks to a late Arda Turan strike in their Group A game on June 12.
The visitors, who handed Kazakhstan their heaviest ever home defeat when they beat them 6-0 last time the teams met in Almaty in 2006, dominated the game but missed several chances.
